Premium Epoxy Flooring in Markham and Across the GTA

Your concrete slab is the hardest-working surface you own, and it takes the most abuse. Hot tires, road salt, dropped tools, winter slush, and years of traffic all land on it.

North King Epoxy turns that slab into a floor you are proud to show off, built with professional-grade epoxy floor coating, polyaspartic floor coating, and quartz systems that are installed properly the first time.

Vapour pushing up through a slab lifts floors. We find out first.

Our Systems

Three Epoxy Flooring Systems, Built for Three Different Jobs

A three-dimensional, marbled, mirror-like finish created by suspending metallic pigments in premium resin. No two floors ever look the same.
Metallic

Metallic Epoxy Flooring

A three-dimensional, marbled, mirror-like finish created by suspending metallic pigments in premium resin. No two floors ever look the same.

Flake

Flake Epoxy Flooring

A coloured epoxy base with decorative vinyl flakes broadcast into it. The speckled finish hides dust, tire marks and everyday mess better than any solid colour.

Quartz

Quartz Epoxy Flooring

Real quartz aggregate set into epoxy resin for a natural stone look with serious grip underfoot. This is the system we recommend when safety comes first.

Why Homeowners and Businesses Choose North King Epoxy in Markham

Most failed epoxy floors were never really installed. They were painted on. Here is what we do differently, and why it decides whether your floor lasts two years or twenty.

We diamond grind. We never just acid etch

A coating can only grip concrete that has been mechanically opened up. We grind the entire slab to strip old sealers, oil, and coatings and cut a real surface profile. Acid etching leaves it smooth, which is why those floors peel off in sheets.

We test for moisture before we coat anything

GTA slabs push water vapour upward, and with nowhere to go, it collects under the coating and lifts it. We test during your free inspection, and where readings are high, a moisture vapour barrier primer goes down before any colour does.

Real thickness, not hardware store paint

The biggest difference between our floors and a big box kit is how much material actually ends up on your concrete. Ours build to 24 to 40+ mils. A hardware store kit dries at 3 to 5.

The right system, not the most expensive one

We install residential, commercial and industrial floors, so we are not pushing one product into every space. A quartz kitchen floor and a flake garage floor are different jobs. You get a recommendation based on your concrete and your traffic.

PROCESS SNAPSHOT

How a North King Epoxy Floor Gets Installed

Most residential projects are finished in two to three days. Here is the short version of how it goes.
01

Free inspection and written estimate

We visit your property, check moisture levels, look at cracks and traffic patterns, and give you a detailed written price. No guesswork over the phone.
02

Full surface preparation

Diamond grinding across the whole slab, then crack filling and repair of any damaged concrete. This is the longest stage of the job, and it is the one that matters most.
03

Primer, colour and flake or pigment

A professional grade primer goes down for adhesion and moisture protection, followed by your base coats and your chosen flake, quartz or metallic finish.
04

Protective topcoat and cure

A polyaspartic or polyurethane clear topcoat seals everything in and protects against UV and wear. Your floor is walkable in about 24 hours and ready for vehicles in three to seven days.

FAQ PREVIEW

Epoxy Flooring Questions We Get Every Week

How long does an epoxy floor last?
A professionally installed epoxy floor coating usually lasts 10 to 15 years with normal maintenance. Premium metallic and quartz systems often last longer. The number that really decides lifespan is not the product, it is the prep underneath it.
You can walk on it after about 24 hours. Give it three to seven days before you park a vehicle on it, so the coating reaches full cure and hardness.
Standard epoxy is moderately slippery when wet. Our quartz epoxy coating system has slip resistant aggregate built into it, and we can add a non slip additive to the topcoat of any system if you have kids, pets or a busy commercial space.
