A final, binding quote will only be issued following a mandatory, in-person site inspection by a North King Epoxy representative, which includes assessment of the substrate, concrete moisture testing, and measurement verification.

b. Commencement of Service

Services officially commence only upon mutual execution (signing) of a formal, written contract or proposal, and the receipt of the required non-refundable deposit.

2.3 Payments, Deposits, and Cancellation Policy

a. Deposit Requirement

A deposit, typically 25-50% of the total quoted price (as specified in the contract), is required to secure your project date and order necessary materials. This deposit is non-refundable once materials are ordered (usually 7 days prior to the start date).

b. Payment Terms

Final payment is due immediately upon the completion of the installation and before the crew leaves the job site, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept various forms of payment as detailed in your contract.

c. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you cancel the project more than 7 days before the scheduled start date, your deposit may be refunded, minus any costs incurred for site visits or specialized materials already purchased.
If you cancel within 7 days of the scheduled start date, the deposit is forfeited in full to cover lost labor scheduling and material costs.

2.4 Warranty and Guarantee

North King Epoxy provides an Ironclad 5-Year Warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials, specifically against peeling, blistering, and delamination, provided the installation protocol (including diamond grinding) was followed as per the contract.

Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage caused by: improper cleaning, structural movement, settling of the foundation, hydrostatic pressure (unless a moisture barrier was specifically contracted), impact damage, or unauthorized repairs.

2.5 Advertising & Data Disclosure (Meta and Google Compliance)

MANDATORY ADVERTISING DISCLOSURE

Our website utilizes third-party tracking technologies, including the **Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel** and **Google Ads Tags**, to measure advertising effectiveness, analyze site traffic, and deliver personalized advertisements (retargeting) to you on third-party platforms.

3. Service Guarantee & Remedy Policy

This section outlines our policy regarding guarantees and the process for addressing defects or issues post-installation, supplementing the Warranty and Terms above.

3.1 General Policy: Services Rendered

Due to the custom, labor-intensive nature of epoxy floor installation, all sales are final upon the successful completion and acceptance of the service. Once the installation is finished and the customer has signed off on the work, the full fee is due and no cash refunds will be provided for services rendered.

3.2 Remedy for Defects (Warranty Claims)

If a defect in the material or workmanship occurs during the warranty period, North King Epoxy's exclusive remedy is **remediation (repair or replacement)** of the defective area, as defined below:

5-Year Remediation Guarantee

Our standard 5-Year Warranty covers defects against peeling, blistering, and delamination due to faulty installation or materials. If a warrantable defect occurs, we will:

Inspect the site to confirm the defect falls under the warranty scope.
Schedule and execute the necessary repairs or re-application of the coating on the affected area at no labor or material cost to the client.

This remediation policy is the sole remedy available to the client for warrantable failures. We do not provide cash refunds for defects covered under the 5-Year Warranty.

3.3 Deposit Refund and Project Cancellation

The policy for deposits is explicitly detailed in Section 2.3 of the Terms of Service and is reiterated here for clarity:

Cancellation outside 7 Days: Deposits may be refunded, minus the cost of materials already ordered and any administrative or site-visit fees.
Cancellation within 7 Days: The deposit is non-refundable and forfeited to cover preparation and scheduling costs.

3.4 Exclusions to Guarantee and Non-Remediable Failures

The guarantee does not apply, and North King Epoxy will not be responsible for remediation or refund, if the failure is caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

Failure due to hydrostatic pressure (moisture pushing up from the concrete) if a moisture vapor barrier was **not** contracted and paid for.
Damage caused by physical abuse, impact, chipping, or improper chemical exposure.
Changes in the structure of the concrete itself (e.g., severe cracking due to foundation settling).

3.5 Initiating a Warranty Claim

To initiate a claim, please notify North King Epoxy immediately upon discovery of the issue. Claims must be submitted in writing via email.
